Useful evidence, with honest limits.
Healthy Network gives you useful evidence without an account or an in-app tracking SDK.
Local data. Mobile check history, settings, and approximate locations you choose to add stay on this device during normal use.
Optional location. The map represents eligible recorded checks. It is not continuous tracking or a complete coverage survey.
No in-app trackers. The iPhone and iPad app has no advertising tracker, in-app analytics SDK, or Sentry SDK.
Honest background behavior. Checks repeat while the app is open. iOS may grant opportunistic background refresh, but Healthy Network does not run continuously in the background.
Best-effort results. Results are best-effort estimates of general connectivity and do not guarantee the performance of a particular calling, gaming, or streaming service.

How does the private connection map work?
If you opt into approximate location, eligible checks performed while the app is open can contribute to an on-device heat map. Areas summarize the recorded history, latest result, and number of checks for that place. You control retention and can clear map locations without deleting the rest of your connection history. The map reflects only checks you performed; it is not continuous tracking or a complete coverage survey.
Does Healthy Network monitor continuously in the background?
No. Checks repeat while the app is open. iOS controls whether and when opportunistic background refresh runs, so background checks are not continuous or guaranteed.
Is there a subscription or Pro upgrade?
No. The iPhone and iPad app is a $3.99 paid-upfront purchase with every submitted feature included and no in-app purchase.
Is this the same as a speed test?
No. Speed tests focus on bandwidth. Healthy Network combines latency, jitter, packet loss, connection stability, and available path evidence to explain current connection health.
Does buying the mobile app include the Mac app?
No. Healthy Network for Mac is a separate $4.99 purchase. Each platform has its own App Store listing and purchase.
What data leaves my device?
The app makes short connections to public probe endpoints, which receive ordinary connection metadata such as your public IP address. Mobile history remains on your device during normal use. See the Privacy Policy for website analytics and platform-specific details.
